H+K is proud to be a sponsor of Canada’s first National Day of Honour as well as the foundation that helped make it possible – True Patriot Love. Together we commemorate the strength and sacrifices made by soldiers and veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces who served our country in Afghanistan. Special ceremonies will take place throughout the day on May 9, 2014 in Ottawa, including a tribute breakfast, a memorial service for the families of the fallen, a parade of 500 currently serving members and veterans who deployed to Afghanistan, an address by the prime minister and two minutes of national silence.

This is a cause that means so much to so many. It’s particularly dear to H+K Ottawa, as numbering among our ranks are many soldiers and families who have served, and continue to serve, our country:
