To create a platform for province-wide communications about the value of experiential learning – such as co-operative education, mentoring, workplace tours and career fairs, and what the Ontario government is doing to promote more of these opportunities for students – we created and managed the first-ever Experiential Learning Week.

We successfully planned and co-ordinated the official launch event at Queen’s Park, which included securing speakers, drafting speeches and media materials, overseeing logistics and providing onsite support. Guests included business leaders, educators, students and MPPs. Our media relations efforts earned positive print, online and broadcast coverage, resulting in nearly seven million impressions.
