H+K Canada VP Brad Lavigne was the chief architect and national campaign director for the New Democratic Party’s 2011 historical breakthrough that elected it to the official opposition. He then served as principal secretary to the hon. Jack Layton. He has now documented the experience in a new book entitled Building the Orange Wave: The Inside Story Behind the Historic Rise of Jack Layton and the NDP.
In stores November 2, Brad launched his book in style in Ottawa earlier this fall. He will be following up that appearance with an official Toronto launch this Wednesday at the Opera House.
For additional appearances from Brad in support on the book, visit the official Building the Orange Wave Facebook page. In addition, you can see Brad talk about his book and his relationship with Jack Layton on a recent edition of CBC’s Power & Politics.
