Mixing it up with KitchenAid

When KitchenAid Canada signed on as a title sponsor at the inaugural Food Bloggers of Canada conference, it enlisted H+K to develop an immersive, buzz-worthy experience that would engage bloggers, creating long-lasting relationships with some of Canada’s top foodies. Our team delivered with several onsite activations, including: custom cookies shaped as Stand Mixers and ovens; a create-your-own milkshake station; and an interactive KitchenAid photo booth.

The KitchenAid Facebook page featured photo booth and event photos throughout the weekend, which increased traffic and followers to the page.  We created a quiz to identify the KitchenAid products each blogger owned, and also chose three top-tier bloggers to attend the conference as KitchenAid’s guests. Allowing bloggers to connect with the brand in a fun, “hands-on” fashion helped define the KitchenAid experience for attendees while providing the KitchenAid team valuable insights to enhance its blogger program.  Since the conference, KitchenAid has continued blogger relations  through various events and activities, further strengthening the relationships that began at the event.
