Colin is a leader in the creation and application of innovative and easy-to-use online tools to engage the public in some of the most pressing public policy issues of our day.

He is one of the leading Facebook developers in Canada, serving as co-founder of the Toronto FacebookCamp, the largest Facebook-focused community technology event outside of Facebook’s own F8 conference.

Before joining H+K in 2012 and Ascentum in 2009, Colin co-founded a boutique marketing agency where he managed more than 40 social media campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands for which he developed sustainable communities and raised brand awareness. Colin’s creative eye and industry know-how were recognized most recently by leading branding and social media experts through a series of awards for his work on Burger King’s “Whopper Sacrifice” campaign, including the Webby, Yellow Crayon and Effie awards.

Colin has written several articles on brand-building using Facebook, and has presented at events around the world, including London, Montreal and New York City.
