In 2006, Jacques co-founded Acertys, a leading consulting firm in Quebec in the fields of stakeholder engagement and public participation, which was acquired by Hill+Knowlton Strategies in 2016. In the mid-1990’s, Jacques also founded a non-for profit corporation with the mission of fostering partnerships and consensus building in urban redevelopment initiatives. Clients and sponsors of the organization included federal, provincial and municipal governments as well as business associations, local economic corporations and real estate developers. He ran the organisation for more than a decade. His previous experiences also include project management for a real-estate developer and various consulting assignments for clients in the private and public sectors.
