Joy heads strategic leadership on all aspects of the client experience and leads operations for H+K B.C., developing communications strategies that integrate a variety of key public and private stakeholders.

 

Joy has cultivated more than 25 years of experience in business and public relations to build a reputation for excellence in strategic and integrated communications planning. She has established a national reputation for client management excellence and understands the importance of mapping business or policy objectives to communications strategies, while ensuring programs are delivered in a timely fashion to maximize available resources.

During her 15 years with H+K she has managed some of the firm’s largest and most complex client relationships, providing strategic leadership on all aspects of the client experience and championing client service excellence—across every business unit and region.

Her understanding of both the public and corporate stakeholder—through perception audits, key messaging development, crisis management, media relations and event planning—provide a unique viewpoint. Joy is a frequent public speaker on communications topics and regularly comments in the media on media issues
