Matthew oversees the creative and digital teams at H+K to develop bespoke programs designed to create buzz, foster engaged conversation and generate real results.

As H+K’s national creative director, Matthew brings big thinking and fresh ideas to every creative opportunity. Working in concert with the firm’s trusted Research+Measurement arm and the rest of the company’s integrated services, From advocacy campaigns and cause marketing, product launches and tourism to health care and financial services, Matthew’s well-rounded experience helps clients push boundaries and create rich content to reach targeted audiences in both the B2B and B2C spaces.

Matthew came to H+K from Real, where he was instrumental in building the digital division that provided clients and colleagues with innovative, creative leadership and helped define program strategies creating communication solutions that were creatively compelling—all of which were on-strategy and motivated desired consumer behaviour.

With nearly 20 years of experience at digital and advertising agencies on two continents, including MacLaren McCann and DraftFCB, Matthew has worked with global brands such as Virgin Group of Companies, General Motors, Nestlé and Energizer. His work has been celebrated by the PROMO! Awards, Canadian Marketing Association, ACE Awards and The New York Festival Awards to name only a few.

Matthew has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Visual Communication from Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication in the UK.
