With the Alberta Election at its midpoint we thought we would share with you some of the more unusual incidents so far.

• The paint job on the Wildrose party’s bus featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
• Wildrose party tweeting an apology for what they called an ‘over the top press release’ but leave the release on the party website.
• Education Minister Thomas Lukaszuk calls the police after he is allegedly assaulted by an elderly Widrose party supporter.  The entire incident was recorded by the home owner’s security system.
• An online petition emerges demanding that Danielle Smith change her first name to “Stockwell.”
• Juno award winners Sylvia Tyson and Cindy Church collaborate on a song for the Alberta Party.
• The Wild Boar Party is launched in jest.
• The NDP party press gallery video goes public showing what Alberta might be like if the NDP were in charge.
• 22 Minutes explains the difference between the PC party and the Wildrose party.
