Last night, at the In2 SABRE Awards North America hosted by The Holmes Report in Chicago, judges awarded Banfield Pet Hospital and H+K with the award for best original research for PR.
The award-winning work is based on a comprehensive study – the PAWrometer™ – that surveyed employees and HR decision makers to better understand the prevalence, impact and perceptions of pet-friendly workplaces.
The In2 SABRE Awards spotlight cutting edge communication campaign components that shape the transformation toward the future while demonstrating “superior achievement in branding, reputation & engagement.”
Leading up to the awards ceremony, attendees gathered for a day of panels and presentations at the In2 Summit where H+K EVP Richard Keil hosted a keynote panel that explored the topic of “The Disintermediation Era: How Communicators, the Media and Brands Need to Navigate the Post-truth Reality.” Featuring Jackie Calmes, long-time New York Times national and White House reporter, and CBS News correspondent Dean Reynolds, the panel discussed the challenges facing mainstream journalists in the era of “fake news.”
