Catherine Keill promoted to group leader, public affairs 

EDMONTON, AB – June 7, 2013 – Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada (H+K), the country’s top-rated public relations and government relations firm, announces Catherine Keill’s promotion to group leader of its Alberta public affairs team.

“Catherine’s leadership experience gained in Mayor Mandel’s office, as well as her expertise in policy analysis and issues management position her well to lead the Alberta public affairs group from her base in Edmonton,” says Lisa Walker, senior vice-president and general manager, H+K Alberta. “As group leader, Catherine will continue to act as a mentor and problem solver while assisting our clients across Alberta with government relations counsel.”

Prior to joining H+K in 2012, Catherine worked in several public-service and political roles at the municipal, provincial and federal levels where she honed her public affairs and government relations skills. As deputy chief of staff in the Edmonton mayor’s office, Catherine served as the mayor’s strategic advisor. She also exercised operational and management functions, managing a staff of seven and overseeing marketing activities.
