With eight years of experience as City Councilor for the City of Westmount, Theodora Samiotis has the skills to rise to the challenges faced by elected officials and managers of municipal governments. During two terms in municipal politics, she successively held the strategic positions of Commissioner of Sustainable Development and Commissioner of Urban Planning. Theodora is also very knowledgeable about the pharmaceutical industry, having served as Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Canada at one of the largest companies in this industry. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Parliament of Canada as a policy advisor to a Montreal MP, and later to the Minister of National Defence. “I am very happy to welcome someone of Theodora’s calibre. Notably, he was the Senior Project Director at Infrastructure Canada for the replacement of the Champlain Bridge from 2012 to 2017. He has also held key positions at Environment Canada and Transport Canada where he was Regional Director of airport and port programs for the region of Quebec. “His knowledge of major projects and of all of their related elements, such as stakeholder engagement and environmental aspects, makes Vincent a sought-after advisor for our clients facing the many challenges associated with the approval process and with the realization of major projects.
