Edmonton, AB – July 17, 2012 – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), Canada’s No. 1-rated public relations and public affairs firm, is pleased to welcome Catherine Keill to its Edmonton, Alta., office as a senior account director.
Ms. Keill brings extensive expertise in policy analysis, government relations and corporate communications through her work during the past 15 years with the Government of Canada, the Government of Alberta, the City of Edmonton, and in the non-profit, corporate and political sectors.
“As the most recent deputy chief of staff to the mayor of Edmonton and as a former advisor to the federal regional minister in northern Alberta, Catherine is poised to handle our clients’ issues with insight and a solid understanding of the procedures and players,” says Lisa Walker, vice president and general manager of H+K’s two Alberta offices. “Additionally, Catherine’s rich background, proven work ethic and experience in three orders of government will be a huge boon for our client work in our Edmonton office.”
Keill is currently completing her master of arts degree in communications and technology at University of Alberta. She also holds a project management certificate from Algonquin College in Ottawa, and a bachelor of arts (honours) in English and communications from University of Ottawa.
Hill+Knowlton and Ms. Keill have confirmed that there are no lobbying restrictions that prohibit her from lobbying government, effective immediately.
