Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of Canada’s leading public relations + public affairs firms, is pleased to announce the addition of Emrul Hasan as Vice-President, Citizenship + Sustainability.
Emrul joins the firm with decades of experience across the full spectrum of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scenarios, having worked with a diverse roster of organizations and their supply chains including within the financial, extractive, and retail sectors globally. He has also spent 20 years within the social impact sector working with both governments and development organizations across 27 countries designing, implementing and evaluating high-impact social and economic development programs.
“The business environment has changed dramatically. In his new role within the H+K’s Corporate Advisory team, Emrul will provide end-to-end support across ESG and sustainability, from benchmarking ESG work, stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment, to refining strategy and execution, to ESG performance and reporting capabilities.
“We know that operational impact will drive an organization’s corporate reputation. My role is to help our clients bridge the gap from operational impact to corporate reputation,” said Emrul Hasan, Vice-President, Citizenship + Sustainability. “I came to H+K because of the opportunity to empower and enable brands to have a better impact on people, communities and the planet.”
