Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) is pleased to announce the addition of Andy Singh as Vice President, Public Affairs, to its team based in Ottawa.

“I am incredibly happy to welcome Andy to H+K. Andy brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of how decisions are made in Ottawa and what they are motivated by,” said Will Stewart, Senior Vice President and National Lead, Public Affairs + Advocacy. “As a senior adviser to the Liberal government for the past six years, Andy has a unique understanding of many of today’s most pressing policy issues and the political considerations that will impact how they move forward.”

Andy comes to H+K from the Liberal Research Bureau, where he held several roles including General Counsel and Director of Compliance, Legal Counsel to the Chief Government Whip, and Deputy Director of Parliament Affairs since 2015. Andy’s breadth and depth of knowledge in public affairs also stems from his two decades of experience in Canadian politics. Andy served as National Legal Counsel to the Liberal Party for the 2015, 2019 and 2021 federal elections, and as a senior member of Justin Trudeau’s campaign leadership team in 2012-2013. As a veteran campaigner, he has impressively participated in every federal and provincial election since 2003.

Complementing his experience in Canadian politics, Andy also brings a wealth of experience in infrastructure development and service delivery through public-private partnerships with all levels of government, having spent two years with Public Private Partnerships Canada, providing legal and strategic advice to management and funding partners.

“Our public affairs work in Ottawa is informed by decades of firsthand experience with all major political parties in Canada. The addition of Andy to our team strengthens our ability to create winning strategies for our clients based on our experiences in the political trenches with politicians of all stripes,” said Sheila Wisniewski, President + CEO, H+K Canada. “With a robust public affairs team in eight offices in Canada, H+K has the right team, with the right insights, to help clients achieve their goals with federal, provincial and municipal governments across the country.”
