Hill+Knowlton Strategies today announced Luke Marchant, sought-after political campaign operative and award-winning public affairs expert, has joined the firm’s Dallas public affairs practice as a vice president.
“With the ongoing changes in the public affairs arena, it is more important than ever to communicate and mobilize effectively through a digital platform,” said Marvin Singleton, executive vice president and GM of the Dallas office. “Luke’s expertise in how to navigate the current political and regulatory environment is the type of specialization that our clients are looking for.”
From starting his career with U.S. Sen. John Cornyn to working on campaigns for U.S. Rep. Pete Olson, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, Attorney General Greg Abbott, and others, Marchant has built a reputation as an effective, results-oriented campaign manager throughout the country.
After running the Kentucky governor’s race in 2011, Marchant returned home to Texas to start a boutique public affairs and political consulting firm. Marchant later joined Mammoth Marketing Group, where he focused on grassroots organization, voter contact and digital messaging for political campaigns and corporations. Marchant has won several awards for his work, including winning the American Association of Political Consultants “Best of the Best” Pollie Award in 2014.
“After spending over 15 years working in the trenches of political warfare and the halls of public policy, I look forward to joining Hill+Knowlton Strategies to serve our clients in Texas and around the world,” Marchant said. “The way we communicate with the public changes constantly, and I look forward to helping our clients connect with their audiences.”
