Lance Donison promoted to VP and deputy GM
Regina (November 10, 2014) — Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada (H+K)—the No.1-ranked public relations and public affairs firm in the country—is pleased to announce the promotion of Lance Donison to vice-president and deputy general manager in its Regina office, effective immediately.
“There’s no one in Regina’s public affairs circles who has as rich and deep an understanding of the region’s corporate and government relations landscape,” says Goldy Hyder, president and CEO of H+K Canada, about Lance. “Lance’s leadership skills and commitment to superior client service and integrated communications has contributed to H+K Regina emerging as the province’s premier public affairs office.”
Lance joined H+K in 2011 just as the firm took on the challenge of expanding into Saskatchewan. Though the province initially had a small public affairs market, Lance helped transform it into a robust industry with H+K Regina at the helm. For the past three years, he and his team have provided clients with strategic business insights and government relations counsel, based on unparalleled expertise of local political, legislative and policy issues.
Prior to joining H+K, Lance spent 10 years in various roles with the Saskatchewan Party, most recently as development director where he built and managed an extensive network for the organization. Lance was also directly involved in repositioning the party and garnering interest from the public through constructive outreach campaigns.
With an innate ability to develop and expand business opportunities, Lance has helped grow the Regina office into a full-service communications team. Providing strategic counsel across several industries, including natural resources, energy, environment, transportation, health care and trade, H+K Regina has become an indispensable part of the firm’s national services.
Lance attended the University of Regina. He is an active member of the community and spends time volunteering as a member of the Red Cross Executive Cabinet.
