+1 Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest?
All three. Though I have to say I’m a Twitter addict.
+2 What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
I went ‘undercover’ as a telemarketer when I was a journalism student at Ryerson. I only did it for a couple of days but it was enough. I have never been hung up on or yelled at as much as then. It did help add some colour to the story I was working on at the time.
+3 Not including your own (newspaper/magazine/blog), what else do you read?
I read all kinds of blogs, from fashion to home decor. One of my favorite blogs of all time is Buy Now, Blog Later.
+4 What’s your guilty indulgence?
Shopping online. There’s something about having a virtual basket full of goodies waiting to be checked out.
+5 Looking back, of which moment in your career are you most proud and why?
As a blogger, my proudest moment was receiving the Best Beauty or Fashion Blog in Canada award at the P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards in 2011. It was amazing to get industry recognition for something that started off as a social media experiment on my part.
