+1 On which social channel are you most likely to lose time?
I am addicted to Twitter. I don’t think of it as time lost, but rather as time spent!
+2 What’s your top tip for PR pros?
We’re not a daily newspaper any more. We’re a 24-hour live news site, breaking news in real time. Our deadline isn’t this afternoon. It’s now.
+3 The last book you read was…?
Framley Parsonage by Anthony Trollope. (I’m on a bit of a Trollope jag—he’s one of my favourite summer reads.)
+4 Do you have a favourite local restaurant?
So many favourite restaurants! But today, I’ll pick an Edmonton classic, the Bul-Go-Gi House, where we ate last night.
+5 What’s the best part of your job?
The constant variety. No routine. No boredom. And I get to speak with so many different kinds of people! It’s never the same day twice.
