On May 24, H+K Canada hosted a virtual panel discussion that examined the critical health care issues that shaped the 2022 Ontario provincial election and where the major parties stood on them.

Our panel of experts explored the challenges facing the upcoming new Minister of Health, including managing the ongoing pandemic, addressing surgical and diagnostic backlogs, and rebuilding the long-term care sector. Most importantly, we examined what this means for organizations.

The event featured a fireside chat with Carly Weeks, Health Reporter for The Globe and Mail and a panel discussion featuring H+K’s National Health + Wellness Sector Lead Laura Greer, and H+K’s Senior Vice-President, Public Affairs + Advocacy Jeffrey Ferrier (former senior Ontario NDP strategist and Executive Director of Health Communications for the BC government), moderated by Will Stewart, H+K’s National Lead for Public Affairs + Advocacy.
