On June 12, 2014, Kathleen Wynne led the Ontario Liberal Party to a fourth consecutive election victory and regained the majority government lost in the 2011 election campaign. The new Wynne government was sworn in a year ago—on June 24, 2014. Both the campaign and the last year in Ontario politics have been noteworthy for a variety of reasons: new ideas, big changes, new personalities and some old personalities in new positions.
